Brooks Behavioral Health Services, LLC

BBHS is a level 1, outpatient facility offering individualgroup, and family counseling sessions with a wide array of assessments for substance abuse disorders. We  have the ability to treat all substance abuse issues while being proud to say we are the only treatment facility that specializes in treating addicts' criminogenic needs (high risk of being incarcerated or reoffending) in Frederick County, MD.  We also specialize in providing sound testimonies in court proceedings on behalf of our clients. David Brooks is available for trainings, conferences, consultations and keynote speaking engagements upon request.

Biography 

  • Adjunct Professor at Frederick Community College in the Social Science Department.
  • Almost 10 years of employment at Frederick County Health Department, Behavioral Health Division;
    • 2016 - Criminal Justice Program Manager
    • 2015 -Founding Member, Treatment Coordinator of Frederick County Veteran's Court
    • 2015 - Treatment Coordinator of Frederick County Drug Court
      • 2013 - Clinical Supervisor over all court ordered treatment and substance abuse treatment at FCADC
        • 2010 - Intensive Outpatient Counselor in Frederick County Adult Detention Center
        • 2008 - Intensive Outpatient Counselor in an outpatient facility
  • 2007 - Behavioral Resource Specialist working with adolescent suffering from MR and Autism at Ivymount School in Rockville, MD
  • 2006 - Behavioral Specialist Consultant – Clinical Supervisor at Children’s Behavioral Health Service in Kingston, PA
