David Brooks, MA, LCADC

David Brooks is a Criminogenics Specialist and currently the owner/clinical director of Brooks Behavioral Health Services, LLC. Before starting his own business, David was employed for close to ten years with the Frederick County Health Department as the Criminal Justice Program Manager. As a program manager, he was the treatment coordinator of both Frederick County Drug and Veteran's Treatment Court while supervising the Frederick County Detention Center Substance Abuse Program (PROJECT 103).

In his professional life outside of owning a business, he is also an adjunct professor at Frederick Community College in the Human Services Department. This position helps him sharpen his own skills by teaching the art of counseling to new prospects in the field. Before acquiring his masters in Educational/Clinical Counseling, he was a Magnet Speech and Debate Teacher in Houston, TX for several years which caused him to have an interest in the mind of his students. The ability to inspire, grow, and challenge his students and clients has been evident in his performance as an educator and a counselor since graduating from Prairie View A&M University with a BA in Public Relations Communication with a minor in Integrated Social Sciences.

Throughout his career he has prided himself on maintaining a high level of care and integrity when working with his clients and students, and he looks forward to the opportunity to exhibit the same professional ethics in his private counseling.

He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha and the church community. Both entities give him the integrity and inspiration to treat people the way that they should be treated and loved. David Brooks and his wife started Brooks Behavioral Health Services, LLC because they knew there was a need in the community that was not filled at the current time.

David is also available for public speaking engagements and consulting. Please do not hesitate to call the office to set up a time to discuss how he can help your organization.

Adriane Brooks

Adriane was born in Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey until she moved to Maryland in 2008.

After graduating High School, she attended Community College where she obtained an A.S. in Early Childhood education. She then went on to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where she received a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising Management. While at F.I.T she studied abroad at the American University of Rome Italy focusing on Art History. Upon graduating from college Adriane worked at various fashion retailers and a cosmetic company.  In 2017 Mrs. Brooks married Mr. Brooks and they had 4 boys in five years. While staying home to raise their children she worked as a substitute teacher for Frederick County Schools and was active in the PTA. Although addiction was not something Mrs. Brooks struggled with in 2015 she would begin her own road to recovery when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and began her fight. Today she is healthy and enjoys working alongside her husband helping residents of Maryland get treatment that is honest and filled with love and compassion. Helping those that struggle with addiction is dear to heart as she has seen loved ones struggle losing a beloved  cousin to the disease.
